How does it work?

This is a tool that draws a graph depicting the values of two dimensions related to market power of competitors.

Examples of Market and Competition Dimensions that are usually measured:

Price:          High Price vs Low Price
Quality:        Low Quality vs High Quality
Technology Use: Low Tech vs High Tech
    Complexity:     Simple vs Complex
Turnaround:     Short Turnaround vs Long Turnaround
Capability:     Low Capability vs High Capability
    Necessity:      Necessary vs Luxury
    Health:         Unhealthy vs Healthy
    Convenience:    Inconvenient vs Convenient

The tool will ask you several questions, which will be the inputs for the Market Positioning Graph:

    1. Name of the 2 dimensions you want to measure (see example list of dimensions above)
    2. Number of Competitors you want to position
    3. The maximum value in the scale that you want to use for evaluating the competitors on the dimensions,
where the scale starts from zero to the value that you specify here. Zero will be the lowest value and the maximum will be high value.
        example 5 means (0-5)
    4. Names of the Competitors including your own business
    5. Values for dimension 1 and 2 for each of the competitors

After answering those questions, the program will save an image of the Market Positioning Graph and will also present you with that graph for instant review.
